What this site is

The Road to Doom is an independent, fan-made preparation guide for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Marvel Studios, The Walt Disney Company, or any of their subsidiaries. Film and show titles, character names, images, and other trademarks referenced on this site belong to their respective owners and are used for identification and commentary under fair use.

Accuracy

We fact-check release orders, plot points, and character appearances before publishing them, and we fix mistakes reported through the correction box on every page. Even so, this is a lot of information and it's not an official source — treat runtimes, release dates, and plot summaries as believed accurate at the time of writing, not guaranteed.

Spoilers

Summaries and plot points on this site include spoilers by default, because a preparation guide has to describe what already happened to be useful. You can turn spoilers off using the switch in the header; doing so is a display preference, not a guarantee that every corner of the site is spoiler-free.

Your watch progress

Progress you mark on this site lives in your own browser. We are not responsible for progress lost to clearing site data, switching browsers, or a device reset. A wall link you generate at /wall is a plain, shareable URL — anyone who has the link can view the wall it encodes, so only share links you're fine having seen by whoever you send them to.

Accounts and billing

You must be 18 or older to create an account. An account is optional, and is billed as a recurring subscription through Stripe.

You can cancel at any time from /account. Canceling stops future billing; it does not refund the current billing period, and your progress is kept, not deleted, in case you resubscribe. See our Privacy Policy for how long a canceled account is kept before deletion.

You do have the option to delete your account from the same page, however, and it is immediate, permanent, and cannot be undone.

Reader corrections

Anything you submit through the correction box is a report to help us fix the catalogue, not published content, and we may use it however we see fit to improve the site. Don't submit anything false, abusive, or intended to disrupt the site.

No warranty, limited liability

This site is provided "as is," with no warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Road to Doom and its operator are not liable for any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site — including reliance on any date, plot detail, or recommendation it publishes.

Changes

We may update these terms as the site changes — including when it retargets from Doomsday to Secret Wars, or when new features like accounts launch. Continued use after an update means you accept the current version.
